According to <A HREF="http://boatsafe.com/nauticalknowhow/hin.html">Nautical
Know How - Boat Hull ID Numbers</A> , and assuming your boat is a new 1999
(the rules changed in 1984 for hull id numbers) , this indicates that your
hull number is #1084. So far so good.
But "E899" means that your boat was manufactured/certified in May (the E
month) 1999. How can this be? It's not May yet!?!
