Zoning Compliance Officers, YIKES! I guess there are a few things I can say
I like about not living in California anymore. I could park as many boats
as I like out here in wild Dakota territory! Now, park is the key word here
not sail. Sailing is another challenge. 6" more snow today and what looks
like at least another month before I can even think about open lakes.

By the way, I have been armchair sailing since I started on this list. The
information and MOST :) of the commentary has been great. I have learned a
lot by just listening that will help greatly once I finally get into the
water. One thing I would like to have is a description of how to use the
150% Genoa I bought. How do you come about/Jibe with such a big sail
hanging out front? It seems to be that I would need to partially furl the
Jenny, with CDI furler, pull it around and unfurl once on the new tack, but
I am usually wrong about these things.

If some one wants to walk me through both coming about and Jibing with a
good description of the process, that would help complete my arm chair
experience and give me an idea of what to expect once on the water.

Hmmm, I could go for that.

But that would get us up to a total of 5-1/2 boats. Will you guys also
kitty-
up for the fine I get when the zoning compliance officer gets on my case for
running a boatyard in my backyard? <grin>
