I plan to lead my control lines to the cockpit this spring (coming
soon to New England I hope!). I was planning to add "Sheet Bags"
attached to the bulkhead to hold the halyards. Sailrite has
a sheet bag kit for $9.95 that probably contains enough material
to make 2 Potter sized bags. Check out http://www.sailrite.com.

I am planning to use Spinlock PX rope clutches for the halyards.
We checked these out at the Hartford CT show last weekend. They
are like a cross between a cam cleat and a true rope clutch. The
can be cleated and uncleated using the line like a cam cleat but
don't require a fairlead. They are slick!

Melissa an I just spent 9 days on an Island Packet 35 in the
Virgin Islands. We were taking ASA sailing classes through
The Maryland School. We had a blast and now have big boat
fever, but we are taking medication and hope to recover soon.
