Howdy Potters,
Went sailing the other day. The weather for the sail was 72
degrees, 16 knot winds gusting to 25, with a moderate chop (2 to 3 ft).
Lots of white caps. Sailed with full main and standard jib. Rachel (our
3 year old) made sure to tell me that Beluga didn't like the weather.
I'll definitely stop taking her on these "bad days". Made Potter Warp 6
quite a bit. Yahoo! I did see a slow MacGregor out on the water. I
think it was a MacGregor, we went by pretty fast. It had a reef in the
main and the jib partially rolled up. They looked uncomfortable leaning
over that way. I wonder if they were getting wet, too. The only bad
part of the trip is the lack of idle speed in my reliable 5 horse
Tahatsu. Any clues? Time to start working on the 13 year old beast.
See ya.
