Most of the posts that I've made to the list have been about trailers
(mostly questions) because I just didn't trust my old Dilly on the road.
It puts a real crimp in sailing if you can't get the boat to the water!

Anyway, no excuse anymore. I finally made the decision and bought a new
trailer. I ended up with a King model KB2800S. This decision didn't come
easy. My first thought was to order a "Baja" model from IM, but they
wanted much too much to ship it up to Western Washington. So the search
started. I narrowed it down to EasyLoader, Calkins and King. I looked at
the design, construction, and cost. The King couldn't be beat IMHO, but I
was worried about fitting it to the boat, as they had never heard of a
WWP-19. The other factors made me willing to give it a try, so I had them
set it up generically.

Today I put SAYOKO on her new home away from home (The water's got to be
the real home for a WWP19). I made a few modifications from the generic
setup and pulled her on. It went very smoothly, although I will be
wanting to move the wheels forward, as the toungue weight is too high, but
that will be easy to do.

More about the trailer:
2800 lb load capacity
Goodyear torsion suspension (No springs to rust)
"Super Lube" wheel lubrication system
Big Tires (ST215/75 14C)
86" between fenders (fits the WWP19 with an inch or 2 to spare)
3x4" frame with the best galvanizing I've seen in a long time
Galvanized steel fenders with step (makes getting in w/o ladder easy)
$1297 + tax and license

She sure looks better on it than on the old Dilly, in fact she looks like
a new boat. I even think I heard her squeek out a "Thank you" as I pulled
her on.

If you're in the market for a new trailer for your 19, check out the King.
I can help with setup info for it and may pass setup info along to King so
they can't say they haven't heard of our beloved boats.

I'm looking forward to lots of fun with SAYOKO this year, and won't be
worried about pulling it anywhere on its new trailer.
