Harry and group:

My P-15 is sail number 1961 and I can assure you my centerboard is not 100
pounds. Also, I do not have the cement blocks. I'm glad, because all the
other necessary stuff I keep aboard is useful ballast. Stuff like the
cooler, barbecue, boom box, lunch, dinner, a couple of sleeping bags, spare
anchor and more. I keep most of that stuff on board all the time.

I know that the CB is not 100 pounds because I am able to stand over the
centerboard and lift it straight up to put it back on the pin when it's been
knocked off. It is a strain, but I do not think I could lift 100 pounds in
that position very easily. I can handle 60 pounds, but not much more bending
straight over.
