Please copy the list on any responses. I did add a scupper to my existing
tiny drain (VERY WORTHWHILE!), but it clogs easily (especially with dog hair
when I take them!) and i once returned to the boat at its slip after a heavy
rain to find the cockpit completely full about 8" deep with water. I think a
bigger drain would be pretty easy to do - there are through-hulls with
built-in scuppers of decent diameter - combining that with a bigger drain
should greatly increase the self-bailing capacity of our boats.
