This may be more of a concern on a P-15, where the extrusion slips over the mast
base fitting, I seem to remember a thru-bolt mentioned in conjunction with the
P-19 mast step.
Isn't it great to have a paranoid person on the list?

I've been considering idea of leading main halyard and topping lift lines aft
directly to cam cleats without a deck organizer (even though I bought one!).
The idea appeals to me cause it save holes on cabin top, prevents balsa core
rain damage and its less things to trip over.
Please send info and comments on ease of use and any problems encountered.
Info will be greatly appreciated. As am about to drill holes. In addition
have acquired 2 - 36" track segments and am about to replace factory track
with new 5/8" track on sides of cockpit/cabin. This will add about 12" more
track fwd of existing legth of track. I will be able to replace the rube
goldberg device aka contraption i am using instead of the new track..
In addition to above am considering installing a Nicro Solar Exhaust Vent
(model 2000) in the cockpit to cabin access acrylic hatch (top). Any help
there would be appreciated before I go glueing, drilling and sawing...
