My wife an I are able to rig the P19 in under 30minutes (don't confuse
experience for skill) with the CDI furler. Since I leave the Genoa furled
on the CDI for Storage, it eliminates the step of hanking on the sail. The
net effect is it handles like a slightly less flexible forestay, with a drum
at the end that needs care not to bang into the gelcoat,or heads. I store
the furled sail for transport and home storage on the side deck, with the
drum near the bow. Works fine, and I store the boat under a poly tarp, so
there is no UV problems with the furled sail.
