I don't know how other Potterers do it but that's what my late grandfather
(Spig Fawcett, of Fawcetts on the city dock in Annapolis, if there's any
Chesapeake sailers on this list) used to do it in Brigadoon, his gaff
rigged schooner (http://spof.org/boat.htm).
