Mr Costa

In your letter you related how you injured your knee while
fending your boat off the pier in a 3 knot wind with the
centerboard up. This was in response to my story about not
being able to deal with my windage with my centerboard up.

This weekend I did the other stupid thing. I left the keel down
all the way and then tried to crank Frimi on to the trailer.
That little crank on the trailer is usually so difficult to
crank that I didn't think that much about it. I spent quite a
few minutes trying to get Frimi on the trailer, before I
realized my mistake.

Oh and also I didn't tye the line that raises the main on well
enough, It came loose and I had to go back to the dock to
affect repairs so out of five hours at the lake I got about
an hour and a half of sailing time.
