Hi Joel:

I can recommend the bimini design produced by IM. It's made out of what is
considered the best, Sunbella canvass, in a wide selection of colors. The
frame and hardware is all stainless steel. It is designed to use up or down
while sailing and with quick realeases can be removed entirely. It comes with
a noncorosive zipper cover. It was reasonably priced, last time I heard. You
could spend more, but not have the confidence that a proven design has.

Additional design feature include, the bimini folds to the back on the
cockpit cap rail. It covers approximately 70% of the cockpit, reducing
excessive windage and providing more visibility. It mounts on top of the
cockpit rails which is a prerequisite for installation. It has user friendly
instructions for installation, as I recall.

I hope my recommendation helps. I must qualify myself since I designed the
canvass accessories for IM as part of my job with IM. I may sound bias but I
think I am objective.

Sincerely, Darrow Bishop, Sausalito, CA
