Last summer I bought the thing after I ran aground.
Since I was worried about Knocking the sensor off
when I put the boat on the trailer, and I wanted it to
check the depth at the bow rather than the stern, I asked
on this list about mounting options.
Someone suggested using slow cure epoxy to mount the sensor
to the hull forward of the centerboard. This I did. The
unit shows that the sensor is connected, but the depth stays
at zero always. So it seems to me I need to mount that sucker
in the water and I got to get it off the hull without the epoxy
still attached.
Ideas?
