I've used acetone, lacquer thinner, and DuPont PrepSol (which makes
the other two seem like hand lotion) on the gelcoat skin of Ursa Minor
with no ill effects. As usual, sanity is implied: if you use these --
for whatever purpose -- rinse soon.

Also, of the "Sof-Scrub" type products, choose one with a brag of
"bleach/chlorine" content to clean your baby; they work like a champ.
Again, rinse!
