I looked at the 4 HP Yamaha at the S.F. Boat show last Jan. Being a
machinist and a mechanic, I looked it over very carefully. I found the secret
for the light weight,LOTSA PLASIC! The starter housing and the lower motor
cover are plastic. Then I looked at the Nissan 5 HP, and bought it. It's very
quiet, and powerful, and very thrifty. And it has very little plastic,The
long shaft weighs 58 LBS, ok for a 19 but too heavy for a 15. On a P.15 you
