I got my new 1/4" keel line rigged with double blocks
above and on keel. Smooth, quiet BUT NOT really easier
than the wire. I suspect you are right about 3/16ths, so
guess I will order some of that and use the 1/4 for
something else. However, definitely eliminates the
feeling that the wire isn't going to break and kill all
within 100 yards. Actually had two "sawed blocks". Will
report 3/16ths results.
