Having recently capsized my P-15, I can state with some confidence that
the centerboard trunk will be under water. The cockpit was full to
within a few inches of the top of the coaming, and water was well up the
sides of the cabin walls, but she did not sink. She wasn't much good
for going anywhere, though! I was lucky to have a fisherman show up
with a big hose and a pump to get most of the water (many hundreds of
gallons) out.
