Today was my first day to get the P-19 wet this year, which involved a
pleasant sail on the Patuxent River. It was also a day to try out the
Nissan 4 stroke 5 hp, which seemed to work wonderfully - quieter than it's
predecessar Yamaha 6, and easier to start. The question, though, concerns
neutral on the Nissan. Neutral on the Yamaha meant the propeller didn't
move at all, whereas on the Nissan there is some very slow movement - about
10 rpm or so, in neutral. This isn't enough to noticably move the boat in a
dead calm, but is different from what I expected.

For those on the list with Nissan 4 strokes, how does this compare to your
experiences?

Thanks for any replys or information.
