Been there, done that, except with an '88 Yamaha. It is an excellent engine
- when it runs. The mechanic who tuned it for me had a lot of praise for
it, but said it was known to be sensitive to settings and fuel mix, etc.
When it was running, it had a lot of power - much more than the potter
needed. So now I have a Nissan, and life is simpler, and more reliable.
