Bill Blohm is rumored to have said said....

" Mine is a 1990 SHORT mast, LONG boom. ...... Anyone with one like
mine or tall mast. Wouldn't surprise me to see MANY different rigs."

Both Ted Duke and I have short rigs (both 1990) and I think that there
is another one up in Minnesota somewhere. I think that '90 was the only
year that they built the short rig and it wasn't a roaring success. The
rig is rumored to have considerable "weather helm", but for the potting
around that I do it really doesn't bother me.

Who else has short rigs out there? I'll compile a list and maybe we can
all compare notes.

Regards Rye
