Well Folks,

With a lot of help from a friend the work on Frodo is well underway.

Whats Accomplished:
1) Deck hardware removed
2) Heavy wood rubrail and mast step removed
3) Portlights removed
4) Centerboard removed
5) Lifting motormount removed (bolts had rusted and had to be cut off)
6) After the rubrail was removed we found that the brass poprivets were still
present from the original (I'm assuming that it was metal of some sort), now I'm
drilling out the left over poprivets
7) The deck apparently was painted somewhere along the way, and I have no idea
what they used. If you have a recommendation for a paint stripper, I'd be
thankful. I don't want to risk painting over old stuff when I don't know what it
is.

Upcoming Events

1) Scrub inside and out with heavy duty cleansers
2) Patch centerboard trunk and other gouges, scratches and cracks
3) Prime and paint the boat (either sea green or teal with a lighter contrasting
deck)
4) Make sail (Junkrig)
5) Build mast tablernackle and mast
6) Cleanup and patch up trailer
7) Rebuild rudder and tiller
8) Wire boat for 12 Volt electrical system
9) Rebuild motormount and replace with slide bracket for easy future removal
10) Check out and tune British Seagull Featherweight
11) Rechristen Frodo
12) Go sailing........
