I'm no scientist (wish I was), but I vote for Jim's analysis. Coming
from a tired guy, there is something to that conservation of energy.
Even if the water moving the boat to create the wind was enough for that
wind to move the boat, as soon as it moved it faster than the water, the
water is no longer moving the boat to create the wind to move the boat,
so there is no longer the wind to move the boat. Oh heck, Jim said it
better.
