I recently posted an inquiry about a boat that I recently purchased and
stated that I had a 1994 Potter 19 #769. I got an e-mail from another owner
stating that I must have read my number wrong because HE had hull #769.
After several e-mails back and forth, it was discovered that our boats have
identical serial numbers on the hull. Has anyone seen this before? Can
anyone explain how this could happen? We both assumed that the numbers were
unique to each hull. Are we wrong?
