Enjoyed your Lake Tahoe electric story! Two summers ago, my brother and
I were also at Lake T. trying out my alum. canoe with new self-built
alum, spars w/lanteen sail and bare feet, when (yup!) electrical storm
arrived (smell of ozone, strikes 1/4 mile away, etc. ) and we stashed
mast and set olympic records paddling to shore.

Always wondered too. . .. . . what if?
