Greetings all:

I am about to embark on two projects and would appreciate any advice.

The first:

I am installing the bimini top which I purchased for my P-19 durimg
International Marine's warehouse sale. Please advise as to where the
mounting brackets should be placed. I assume that they go on top of the
cockpit coaming but am unsure as to where they are placed in relation to
the jib sheet cam cleat. Any one with the factory bimini out there?

The second:

I am planning to cut an access hatch for the area under the v-berth, on
the starboard side of the boat, just in front of the porta-potti. Any advice
on doing this project. I am interested in hearing about how the cut was
done and what was done to prevent the fibreglass "hatch" from falling as
the cut was completed.

Thanks, in advance, for any help.
