Bernie, When I installed my lead ballast I got free wheel weights from the
local gas station. Today things have changed, and you have to buy it. You can
use bird shot or salmon weights or diving weights. I made a plastrer of
parris mold using a block of wood for a plug. Be sure to melt the lead
outside, and don't breathe the fumes. If you add lead rto the C.B. on a P.15
it won't retract, however you could make 2 half torpedo shapes and bolt them
to the bottom of a P.19 and really make her stiff. Jerry Barrilleaux
