That one got me last weekend. Now that Necessity is dry-slipped, I lock
motor to the stern rail with a cable, and remove the safety lanyard. Took
me about thirty pulls on an engine that usually starts on the second one
to realize what was wrong. The dock attendant commented that we were the
fourth boat that day to forget the safety switch.

I consider it a good day if that's all that goes wrong.
