After minor, and a few major, trailer problems (Pacific 1993) I decided to
see if I couldn’t figure out why my P-15 wasn’t going onto the trailer
straight. After launching one day I went back and sighted down my trailer and
sure enough things were not lined up right. So I centered the last roller in
the middle of the back support (it was a couple inches off). Then I used a
length of string to help line up the other supports. Retrieval was the best
yet. My local trailer guy had blown off my problems, including a horrible
bent winch. We all assume when we get a trailer that it will be aligned, but
I found out that just is not always the case.
