Hinging the mast

Would like to hinge my mast, instead of lifting it over its male step which I
find to be a pain in you know what. I am afired that if I am not very careful
in lifting the mast that I can scratch the top of the boat with the mast.
I would like to know if any
one has done this on a potter 15 and if so how and where did you get the
hinge
