I have a question for the potter group. I been looking for a small =
trailerable sailboat and have looked at the P15 Potter but have been =
concerned on the quality of the boats. I have read where in the =
evolution of the boating industry with respect to fiberglass =
manufacturing that early on people did not know exactly the amount of =
fiberglass that would do the job, they tended to build them to the =
thicker side. As competition increased there was a need for the =
manufacturers to thin the fiberglass down in order to increase shrinking =
profits (early 80's). Does anyone know the history of the potters well =
enough to know the "good" years vs the "bad"?
Thank you
