I remember having so many near misses as a windsurfer with those jetski
folks.....pretty scary stuff. at least now i have a little sailboat around
me. (p-15) instead of just a windsurfer.
re: use of boats. Here in Eugene we have a 6 month season to sail on Fern
Ridge since it was built for flood control and they drain it every winter.
all boats must be out by October 1....and still there are only a handful
of the hundred or so boats at my marina that I ever see taken out! I can't
figure it...I've been out almost every other day! who knows?
