That must be a later model Bearing Buddy. My (very) old ones just blow the
seals if you overfill.

What appears to be a better solution than Bearing Buddies is the
Spindle-Lube axles sold by Champion Trailer
<http://www.championtrailers.com/spdlubax.html#spindlub>. The hub is
totally sealed, and pumping grease in purges all the old grease out,
effectively repacking the bearings without disassembly.

It appears that the preferred installation requires replacement of axle and
hubs, but they also offer (in their catalog) a Spindle-Lube hub upgrade
that does not require axle replacement.

Does anyone have experience with Spindle-Lube axles or hubs?
