>Greg,
On Sea Dove I have tryed about every container and setup that can be
imagined. What I have now have has worked the best for me and is the most
simple. I use 2 of the 2 1/2 gallon drinking water jugs that can be found
everywhere from grocery stores to conveniece stores. They are placed under
the sink in a plastic dishwashing tub that holds them securly. The sink
drain drains into one via clear plastic tubing and the pump is supplied by
3/8 tubing that fits perfectly into the hole that results from yanking the
little dispensing valve out of it's collar. The drain hose fits perfectly
into the hole made by yanking the whole collar out. This has worked well!!!
Never had a spill, even in rough seas. You can refill the supply jug if you
want or just slip a new full one through the access door. To remove the
waste water one- replace the collar assembly to reseal and pull out through
the door. Give it a try first, the whole setup with hoses and dishpan cost
about $5 ( cash american ), and there's no thru hulls or fill ports to
complicate things. For instance, you don't have to worry about water going
bad as can happen in a permanent tank. Extra 2 1/2 gal containers can be
stored under the V-Berth with the added advantage of weight - forward.
I'm just down from you in Greenville SC, as are a growing number of owners
in the area. It may be time for us to look into a getogether at the coast
or one of the lakes.

Hope this helps

I agree with David Beisel. I am fed-up with the plastic jug
