I spent last week on vacation at Edisto Island, SC. Great place! Because
of a last minute car trade and no trailer hitch available for new car, I
didn't get to take the boat. I did spend time several days fishing near a
public launch ramp. I saw a lot of boats go in and out. When I have
launched my boat other places, I always walk the boat off and on, leaving it
beached or docked while I park or back in. After watching the boats at
this ramp, I don't think the boat should or could be beached there and the
dock was not accessible by foot. My question is, has anyone actually sat in
the boat and motored off and/or on the trailer, ala drive-on trailer style?
It seemed to me that anything else single-handed would be very difficult
with my P15.
