Funny memory. Many years ago I had a business visitor here in Wilmington,
Delaware from the West Coast.....Los Angeles to be exact.

At lunch time my visitor asked me what I might recommend to be good _
local_ food. I told him that at that time of the year the SOFT shelled
crabs were in and that one of these fried and on toast made a great lunch.
He never heard of such a thing and ordered that. When it came he was
presented with a lightly toasted sandwich with [ of course ] the fried crab
inside....WITH ITS LEGS HANGING OUTSIDE OF THE BREAD. My friend
exclaimed: " WHAT'S THAT !!!???? ". I told him that was his lunch.
He almost shouted....." NO WAY I"M GOING TO EAT THAT XXXX THING "....he
gave it to me and he ordered something else.

So that day I had _two_ soft shell crab sandwiches.....yum,
yum....especially those crispy legs!!!
