Where does IM locate the switch panel for running lights on a P15?

For those of you who have installed your own, what location did you use,
and how has it worked out?

I want to wire up my running lights to a panel and will also be installing
a digital voltmeter to use as a "fuel gage" battery charge monitor for my
MinnKota electric outboard.
