Just an update on the 4 h.p. Evinrude that I couldn't fix.
I took it to The Boat Shop here in Reno (actually I think it's in Sparks)
and they replaced the fuel primer valve (choke). Parts & labor = $125.
This is really embarassing but I'm gonna share it anyway. This valve is
also the fuel shutoff. I think the thing was in the off position and that's
why it wouldn't start. The reason they had to replace it was that I broke
it while "fixing" the motor. What a maroon.
It works great, as it always did before this. I may see some of you at the
Tahoe Sail, if I can get some time off during the event.
