More than one of you have added reefing in a timely fashion to my list of
tips for preventing a mishap...
-when in doubt, reef
-the time to reef is when you first think about reefing
Here's my problem... I don't have reefing points in my sail. Can one reef
without those little holes in the sail? Or is it a priority to take the
sail to a
shop and have them put in? Does it work to just drop the sail and turn on
the motor and hightail it for the marina when I "first think about reefing"
??
