Geoff:

The last I had heard (from Jerry?), the plan was to anchor near the beach.
In our 1997 sail, the boat-in campground was pretty well filled up. Some of
us tied up at a spot near the mouth of Emerald Bay, which had no facilities
at all, and the rest were either at the campground or by the beach. Isn't
there a snackbar in the park area by the beach?

Launching 17 or more boats Saturday morning will be a jam. We should
probably try to start launching as soon as the ramp opens. Maybe we could
raft up or orbit outside Tahoe Keys until everyone is launched so that we
can all sail off together in one awesome formation.

I keep saying "we" even though it is doubtful I'll make it this year, so I
haven't signed on. If I do make it I won't need a slip since I will use
the RV or a motel Friday night.
