Yes, a 2 hp Evinrude normally used on my dinghy. It works just about
as one would suspect: plenty of speed in flat water/still winds but
slow to accelerate. Not quite enough poop for powering into seas or
significant winds. Would no doubt work great for into & out of ramps
or slips, but I wouldn't recommend a 2 hp as the only motor. I'd
guess, however, that a 3 hp would be acceptable as the one and only,
especially if you sail light ... as I decidedly do not.
