I'm nearly 6'7" and go 235lbs, and I used to go to the bow of "Always", my lateen
rigged P15 (soon to be mine again) quite often with no problems. Thing is, the
board was always down, ALWAYS DOWN. No exceptions.

There is a picture of me on the bow of Lionel Galibert's P15, taken at "The
Gathering" on Glebe Bay a couple of years ago. You can see it on the main Potter
site, www.lesbois.com/wwpotter.

If I can sit on the bow, using common sense and good judgement, well then just
about anyone could. The key word in that statement is COMMON SENSE. Use it,
have the board down, and chances are you'll be fine.
