Last Sat. we took out Redwing for a shakedown cruise to see how all the
bells and whistles worked. Judy has been spending lots of time working out
all the details to make her easily sailed by a 110 pound lady. There were
five of us onboard, but she was making good speed on all points of sail.
Judy's boat is the most well equipped Potter I have ever seen. Harry Gordon
and Dave Katz were also out that day, so we had a nice show of Potters. At
first I was a little skeptical about all the bells and whistles, but after
sailing her for a while I found she was very easy to sail. The thing that
impressed me the most was the way it all broke down after the sail. Judy
designed in a slick system to rig, and break down in a hurry. If you make it
to Tahoe, be sure to check out Redwing, she is one sweet little Potter.
