Geoff is right, Susan....the cork does the job. Don't forget to put it in
the drain hole when you step in the cockpit on first boarding the boat to
sail.....the drain "drains" when it is sitting at its slip, waiting for
you to come sail it.

If you get swamped, removing the cork (after removing yourself) will drain
the cockpit slowly but surely.

Classy? I don't know. Most likely there will be classier things to focus
on than the cork down on the floor behind you....hopefully....
