using their sailboat database. Look up both Potters 15 and 19 by length
and you'll discover a little known secret about the origins and builders
of the 15...
Yes, while the builders of the 19 are indeed International Marine, it
appears from Boattalk that the builder of the 15 is Capri, by Catalina
Yachts! In addition to that, evidently Catalina thought the P15s too
heavy, as they have slimmed down to 385 lbs displacement.
I thought it funny; just wanted to share it with everyone. NOTE: For
any lurkers on the lists, just so you know, International Marine builds
the 15s and 19s and the above is an error on the part of the folks who
compiled the specs database for Boattalk.
