I have been advised not to try and make the trip for health reasons. I had a
major heart problem a few months ago and it is felt going to the Tahoe Sail
would be too much and I have been know to over do. I am a Trumpet Player and
have a Swing Band , Aug has been a busy month for us We played last Sat at
the lake, we are playing tonight at the Pepper Mill in Reno , Fri night at
Sqaw Valley, have to drive back to Reno , will not get home until about 1pm ,
get up early Sat Am and go to Tahoe Keys (on a Sat in Aug ,busy place) I am
not 25 any more , so they said no.
I bought a 1986 WWP19 end of June , needed a lot of cleaning etc. We are new
to sailing and this site and all of the good info has helped a lot the boat
has been good for me in a lot of ways, as Judy stated, it is as much fun
getting thinks worked out and fixed as boating. I have been a long time Tahoe
Sailor , waking up on the hook inEmerald Bay is one of the things you need to
do in your life time.
I was looking forward to meeting a lot of you , seeing your boats getting new
ideas etc.there will be another time, Enjoy , looking forward to lots of
good reports. Watch out for Tahoe Tessie .
