Does anyone have any experience or know of anyone who has experience sailing
a Potter long distances over open ocean? My memory may be faulty, but last
year did someone on this list say they were planning a sail to Bermuda? I
wonder how they did? Also, I have no knotmeter and I haven't bought a
knotstick or other device for measuring boatspeed, and I'd like to know how
fast a Potter 19 sails in light, medium, and heavy winds (we have 2 sets of
reef points and a roller reefer jib). Thanks.
