Measure the horizontal distance between the centerline of the wheels
and the hitch ball. Call it X inches. Call the total weight of the rig
Y pounds. Each inch you move the boat back/forward will
decrease/increase the tongue weight by *approximately* Y/X (Y divided
by X) pounds. It's all a Class 2 (or was that Class 3?) lever.
