Right. Even so, there's precious little deck space over the chain locker.
If you want to mount a long anchor roller, you probably need to do it on
the side opposite your furling line. That doesn't leave much room for
a chainpipe - maybe replacing the cowl vent ring with a chainpipe is the
best answer. That won't help your rode to dry out, though.

Don't forget your bow lights - an anchor roller will probably mask the
light from one side. That's why I've not yet mounted the small roller I
bought two years ago - I haven't wanted to deal with moving the running
lights.
