Thanks for the good stuff.

I have a spray can of hammertone Rustoleum I'm using to touch up interface
spots like the spring hanger brackets as I prepare to install the new
parts. Someone else was saying good things about Hammerite. I've seen gray
hammertone used a lot on electronic rack panels. The can I have doesn't
indicate what it's made of.

The exact URL you gave doesn't work anymore but I found the posts after
dropping off the "index c." The Hammerite sounds like the best thing so
far. The PQR-15 may be okay also. I can probably do the trailer with a
quart or two. I'll try brushing or may invest in an airless sprayer. (My
house hasn't been painted in 30 years either.)
