Hello Richard,
I talked to the Dutchman guy at Sail Miami a few years
ago and he said they were for larger boats than the Potter and required a
fully battened main sail, also he mentioned something about a track and car
for the main and that would be difficult to put on the small diameter mast
of our boat , but I thought they were a good way to go, with a little
Potter ingenuity I'm sure it could be done. With the sail slugs we
installed on Corky the sail drops faster than we can deal with it. I'm
thinking about a lazy jack too.
